On-Campus Interviewing Program

To help you recruit the best candidates for your organization, the Career Services Center will customize our services to meet your needs. Through on-campus interviews, we can help you connect with candidates that meet your qualifications for professional and internship opportunities. As a means of developing professional etiquette, students must adhere to our Interview Cancellation and No Show Policy.

Recruiting wing in Career Services Center

We offer a variety of interview schedules. Just pick the one that suits your needs, or build your own and enjoy the convenience of using our comfortable and professional interviewing suites!

Arranging an interview schedule

Email Career Services or call 330-672-2360 to select a date and provide the information necessary to set up your schedule. Kent State University uses a web-based interview management system called Experience.com. Experience has been a pioneer and innovator in the college recruiting market and their software allows employers to post jobs online, search resumes, and pre-select candidates for interview sign ups. Likewise, candidates are able to view, apply to job postings, and sign up for interviews online.

Timing of interview schedule

Our six, professional interview suites are available year-round, although candidate availability is greatest during the academic year (September – April). We do not recommend scheduling an interview date immediately prior to or following a holiday. Please view the Official University Calendar for dates.

Student/Alumni participation in interviews

All students and alumni who wish to participate in interviews arranged through Career Services must be registered with the Experience Job Board prior to the pre-selection process and interview sign ups.

Recruiter parking, driving directions, and lodging

Recruiter parking spaces are available adjacent to the Michael Schwartz Center during the academic year. You will receive a one-day permit for this space in your interview confirmation packet. Also visit Directions, Maps and Lodging for assistance in planning your visit.
