Establish an Internship Program
Interns often become excellent candidates for full-time professional positions within your organization. Student interns will describe your organization to classmates when they return to campus which can enhance your campus profile and potentially increase your applicants for part-time, summer, intern, and full-time professional positions. We have provided some helpful information online to assist employers in developing an internship program.
Participate in Career Programs
Both the Career Services Center and the KSU Alumni Association offer a variety of programs throughout the year. Topics include career and major exploration, resume and cover letter writing, interviewing, business etiquette, and more. The involvement of employers can greatly enhance these programs and create recruiting opportunities.
Partner with Student Organizations
Foster relationships with students directly by connecting with our large and diverse number of student organizations. Student groups may want employers to provide information on their industry, organization, and recruiting procedures, as well as share advice on resume writing, interviewing, and job search strategies. To connect with student organizations, contact the Center for Student Involvement at 330-672-2480.

Employer Promotion Program
Enhance your organization's visibility on campus through our Employer Promotion Package, available when registering to attend any of our Job and Internship Fairs. Organizations receive recognition at all recruiting events, their name advertised on the Career Services web site, and displayed in our Employer Showcase in the Career Center lobby. For more information, contact us at 330-672-2360.
Connect with Faculty
There are a number of ways that you can build bridges with faculty and university departments at Kent State. Serving as a classroom guest speaker is a great way to publicize your organization to Kent State students. Involvement in faculty research and corporate/academic partnerships also serve to enhance your organizations' visibility on campus. The staff of the Career Services Center would be happy to connect you with Kent State faculty across all departments.
Place an Ad in the Daily Kent Stater
