Career Exploration Course (Expr 20295 - 3 credit hours)

This three-credit hour course is designed to provide students with information on the career decision-making process and the tools necessary to explore and evaluate career options.

Students will gain a clearer understanding of their:

  • Values
  • Abilities, skills, and interests
  • Preferred roles and environments
  • Goals

Students will be expected to:

  • Have a positive attitude
  • Participate in class discussions
  • Arrive on time and stay until class is over - attendance is mandatory
  • Invest the time and effort required to reap the benefits - you will have some fun along the way too

Additionally, students will:

  • Learn how to write a resume, search for a job, and find internships
  • Interact with employers to discuss career issues and career fields
