Self-Managed Reference File
With a self-managed document file, you control your file, what is in it, what goes out to employers, and when. In addition, your only cost is for photocopies, envelopes, and postage. By managing your own file, you are able to submit a comprehensive package when applying for positions. You can mail your cover letter, resume, and recommendation letters in one mailing. Use a large (9x12) envelope. Do not fold materials.
Always type addresses on the envelope or mailing labels.
