What I do at the
Career Services Center: |

I am a member of the counselor staff, who enjoys assisting students and alumni with their various career issues/concerns ranging from choosing a major to negotiating a job offer. Also, I conduct presentations on Resume Writing , Interviewing, Internships, and Job Search Strategies. I work with all majors but my emphasis is with the College of Business and the College of Technology. |

My Master of Education in Higher Education Administration and College Student Personnel was earned from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Science in Technical Education from the University of Akron. |
How I got here: |
|
I returned to school to complete my Master's degree in Higher Ed, after spending many years in human resources. Fortunately, I was hired into Career Services in 1989 and continue to love my job. |
Most unusual job held: |
|
I was Employee Relations Manager at a chicken processing plant. |
About me: |
|
I have two children and four grandchildren. I serve as Sr. Usher at my church. I enjoy maintaining a healthy lifestyle by exercising and jogging regularly at the Rec Center. I recently retired from the Army Reserves with 20 years of service, including a deployment to Uzbekistan from May 2004-May 2005. |
