Placement Testing

In order to ensure proper course placement, incoming freshmen are required to take various Placement Assessments. Students who are unable to participate in Destination Kent State for placement assessment, advising, and scheduling, should contact their College Advising Office to make an appointment to meet with an advisor and take any necessary placement assessments (i.e COMPASS for math, reading, and writing).

Language placement tests for French, German, and Spanish are available during the DKS visit or by contacting the Modern and Classical Language Studies department at 330-672-2150 in 109 Satterfield Hall.
